The workshop will comprise two parts:

  • Part A: Investment Round Fundamentals – Including: documentation involved; due diligence process; key deal concepts (valuation/dilution, liquidation preference, board makeup, protective provisions, anti-dilution); restrictions on founders; and, jurisdictional differences
  • Part B: Licensing Arrangements – Including: the “anatomy” of a licensing/collaboration term sheet, and how that might translate into the definitive agreement
